A couple of weekends ago I braved the crowd of thousands in Centennial Park to get my free music on. I was not able to go Friday night which boasted a lineup of My Morning Jacket and the Zac Brown Band, but Saturday and Sunday’s lineups did not disappoint–how could it when you get to see Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Ludacris, Flo Rida, MUSE, Blind Pilot, Grace Potter, Sting,and Dave Matthews all in the span of two days? Besides the horrible hordes of people, who brought with them hordes of attitude–guess in the end what do you expect it was free–great music was heard by some of the biggest names in the business.

The NCAA came to Atlanta last weekend and in addition to basketball fanatics a like, the  sporting event brought with it The Big Dance concert series. High profile and sought after artists such as Muse, Dave Matthews Band, and Sting headlined the Saturday and Sunday shows in Centennial Olympic Park.
